2:1 drive ratio replacement alternator pulley. Another part designed for our high revving time attack car. 

The factory alternator pulley has a drive ratio of 3:1. That means you are spinning the alternator to 21,000rpm at 7000rpm! Alternators, and belts don't last long at these speeds because the belt will often skip on upshifts, and alternator brushes/bearings aren't made to go this fast.

At a 2:1 drive ratio, the alternator is safe at speeds over 9000rpm, and will still charge at idle (considering your alternator is in good shape)
